About The Owner

Hello Lovelies! My name is Hillary and I am the owner and designer behind Wildflower Hill. Wildflower Hill has been a dream of mine for what feels like forever. I have been a florist for about 6 years doing weddings, special events, and special order floral bouquets. Floral and making people excited about flowers is a huge passion of mine. I truly feel like flowers are the best accessory to any event and they are a great way to say you care about someone.

My floral style is a bohemian, wild, natural one. I love making large floral installations and the look on a brides face when she see's her bouquet.

In my younger years, I grew up living next to my grandparents dairy farm playing in the fields with the wildflowers and critters. I was my own florist at a very young age and to this day, Queen Anne's lace is still one of my favorite wildflowers. I was born and raised on the Oregon Coast in a small town called Tillamook (yes like the cheese!) I love the pacific northwest. I am constantly inspired by its stunning beauty and constant weather changes. Coastal and woodsy weddings and elopements hold a special place in my heart for sure.

I'm a non traditional designer who was taught this craft by my mother who was also a florist and flower nursery owner for many years. As soon as I graduated high school, my mom had purchased a flower nursery, and she named me co owner. I learned all I could about local plant life as well as seasonal flowers, roses, herbs, and trees. Her and I had done several local weddings, events, valentines days, and daily deliveries. My favorite place in the world is inside a greenhouse surrounded by the sweet aroma of all the summer blooms. My husband and I were actually married in the same greenhouse on the nursery property. One day I hope to have a few greenhouses of my own to work in with lots of flowers surrounding me.

In my day to day life I am a mother to the most amazing little boy who is constantly keeping me on my toes. He usually is my helper come wedding season and for that I am incredibly grateful. We mostly love exploring and hiking our beautiful state with our Husky Scout., or staying home and snuggling our cat Mango.

Wildflower Hill is serving Beaverton, Portland, and surrounding areas. I can also travel to you and help you set up or take down your event.
